Graduate research student positions are available starting September 2018 in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto. The areas of research include, but not limited to, steel-reinforced and FRP-reinforced concrete structures under normal and extreme loads,
seismic retrofit of structures with FRP, effects of extreme climate on structures, effects of reactive aggregate on concrete nuclear structures.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering with excellent grades
- Proof of English proficiency
- Applicants with Master's degrees will be preferred and can be considered for direct admission to the PhD program
